Based on the guidance of public health officials and the state government, the Center for Financial Independence will be temporarily suspending in-person events and personal finance advising appointments. During this time, you may still contact our office via email and we will be happy to assist you. Information on virtual advising sessions and events will be forthcoming. Please continue to monitor our website for any updates. For additional information about how Northeastern is preparing for COVID-19, please visit news.northeastern.edu/coronavirus.

Thrive Incubator

What Is Thrive?

Thrive, our personal finance incubator, allows for any Northeastern student to pitch an idea that promotes financial literacy. Accepted pitches receive the resources, funding, and support needed to make the idea materialize. The incubator encourages students to be creative in the topics, format, and delivery methods used for content related to personal finance. Thrive allows for new technologies to be implemented, further building on the unique nature of the Center and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit of Northeastern. As long as an idea relates to financial literacy – the sky is the limit for what a student can pitch. Below is a video overview of our Spring 2016 Pitch Week, highlighting ideas that have been presented in the past.
