Financial aid awards and applicable tuition credits or adjustments may not yet appear on your student account. Financial aid information is still being finalized and billing assessments are not yet complete.
Please wait until you receive your official billing notification before reviewing your account balance. Your billing notification will let you know when your bill is available and ready for review.
If your financial aid or tuition adjustment is not reflected after you receive your billing notification, please contact us for assistance.
Will you notify me when my bill is ready?
Where can I view the billing statement?
What do the terms “pending aid” or “anticipated credits” mean on my bill?
Students who anticipate a remaining balance after financial aid is applied, or who need assistance covering other educational expenses, may wish to consider a Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan or a supplemental educational loan.
Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loans remain available through the U.S. Department of Education for eligible parents of dependent undergraduate students. Information regarding eligibility and the application process can be found on the Federal Student Aid website https://studentaid.gov/.
Supplemental loans may also help cover any remaining educational costs. Students and families are encouraged to explore Elm Select, our private loan comparison tool.
Students and families who apply for a supplemental loan will need to list Northeastern University as their school on the loan application.
Students continuing their studies at Northeastern’s New York City campus will receive their Offers of Financial Assistance in early August. This information will be sent to students’ Northeastern email addresses.
Students transferring to Northeastern as part of the merger are considered continuing NYC campus students and will continue to be evaluated under MMC’s existing policies for both institutional scholarships and need-based financial aid.
Need-based financial aid—including federal grants, Direct Loans, and institutional funding—will continue to be determined annually based on the information submitted through the FAFSA and each student’s continued eligibility.
MMC merit and talent scholarships will continue to be renewed under MMC’s existing scholarship policies. Renewal eligibility will continue to be based on the applicable cumulative GPA and any major-specific requirements.
